Domain Name Registration Terms

Effective Date: April 16, 2026

1. Introduction

Lovable Labs Incorporated ("Lovable", "we", "us") provides domain name registration and related services to its customers through its technology platform.

By purchasing or managing a domain name through Lovable, you agree to the terms set out in these Domain Name Registration Terms ("Terms"). These Terms supplement any other agreement between you and Lovable (including Lovable's Terms of Service). By registering a domain name through Lovable, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Sponsoring Registrar

The domain registration, renewal and any related services under these Terms are provided by Lovable through sponsoring registrars. Domain names registered through Lovable are currently processed by Name.com, Inc ("Name.com"), which acts as the sponsoring ICANN-accredited registrar. Lovable reserves the right to provide the services under these Terms through other ICANN-accredited sponsoring registrars. You may verify Name.com's accreditation status and identify the sponsoring registrar for any domain through the ICANN Registration Data Lookup Tool. If you have questions about the identity of the sponsoring registrar, you may contact Lovable and we will provide this information.

3. Applicable Agreements and Policies

By registering, renewing, or transferring a domain name through Lovable, you agree to be bound by the following, which are incorporated by reference into these terms:

  • Name.com Domain Name Registration Agreement (the "Name.com Registration Agreement"); This agreement sets out the terms and conditions between you and Name.com for domain name registration services.
  • If you purchase WHOIS privacy services: the WHOIS Privacy Service Agreement, which governs the use of proxy contact information in the RDDS database.
  • ICANN Consensus Policies; All domain registrations are subject to applicable ICANN consensus policies, including the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP), the Transfer Policy, the Expired Registration Recovery Policy, the Registration Data Policy, and other policies as adopted or amended by ICANN from time to time.
  • Registry Operator Terms; Depending on the top-level domain (TLD) you register (e.g., .com, .net, .org, .io), additional terms imposed by the relevant registry operator may apply. Such terms may include requirements to comply with sector-specific laws, maintain appropriate security measures, hold applicable licenses or authorizations, and report material changes to such credentials. In particular, domain name registrations in regulated and highly regulated top-level domains (such as .bank, .law, .pharmacy, .finance, and others identified in the Name.com Registration Agreement) may carry additional obligations. The specific additional registry requirements applicable to your domain name registration are set out in the Name.com Registration Agreement, and you agree to comply with all such requirements.

In the event of any conflict between Lovable's terms and the Name.com Registration Agreement, the Name.com Registration Agreement will prevail.

4. Nature of Domain Registration

A domain name registration is a limited-term service. Registering a domain name does not confer any ownership or property interest in the domain name itself. Your registration creates a service relationship for the term you have selected, and that term ends on the expiration date.

5. Fees and Pricing

Domain name registrations, renewals, and transfers are subject to fees, which will be clearly displayed during the purchase process:

  • Registration fees apply when you first register a domain name.
  • Renewal fees apply when your domain registration is renewed, whether automatically or manually. Once a domain is renewed, renewal fees are non-refundable.
  • Post-expiration renewal fees may apply if you renew a domain after its expiration date. These fees may differ from standard renewal fees and will be disclosed where applicable.
  • Redemption or restore fees may apply if your domain enters a redemption grace period following expiration. These fees will be disclosed where applicable.
  • If your account is set to auto-renew, you are responsible for all renewal fees incurred.

6. Acceptable Use

Domain names registered through Lovable must be used in compliance with the Name.com Acceptable Use Policy, applicable law, and all applicable ICANN and registry operator policies. Without limiting the foregoing, you must not use, and must not permit others to use, domain names registered through Lovable for any of the following:

  • content or activity that harms minors or misleads or deceives minors;
  • content or activity that infringes the privacy, intellectual property, or other rights of any third party;
  • fraud, phishing, or any activity that attempts to deceive or mislead members of the public;
  • the transmission of unsolicited commercial email (spam), activity that results in Name.com's infrastructure being reported to an abuse-monitoring organization, or other communications in violation of applicable laws;
  • any illegal activity or any illegal, dishonest, deceptive or unfair trade practices;
  • content that is hateful, defamatory, or incites harm;
  • the unauthorized transfer of a domain name; or
  • any use which you know will lead or contribute to any of the above.

7. Suspension, Cancellation

Your domain name registration may be suspended, cancelled, or transferred by Name.com or the applicable registry operator in accordance with the Name.com Registration Agreement, applicable ICANN policies, and applicable law. Grounds for suspension or cancellation include, but are not limited to, the provision of inaccurate registration data, failure to respond to verification inquiries, violation of applicable use policies as set out in Section 6, and as required by dispute resolution proceedings. If a third party claims that your domain name infringes their trademark rights, you may be required to participate in a mandatory dispute resolution proceeding under the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) or Uniform Rapid Suspension System (URS), which could result in the transfer or cancellation of your domain name. Further details on these proceedings, including your rights, are set out in the Name.com Registration Agreement and the applicable ICANN policies.

8. Domain Expiration, Renewal, and Deletion

It is your responsibility to keep track of your domain name expiration dates and to ensure timely renewal. Lovable will send you renewal reminder notifications by email approximately one month and one week before your domain's expiration date. If your domain is not renewed by its expiration date, Lovable will send at least one additional notification within five days after expiration, including instructions for renewal. The specific processes and timelines for domain expiration, reactivation, redemption, and deletion are governed by the Name.com Registration Agreement, applicable ICANN policies (including the Expired Registration Recovery Policy), and the policies of the applicable registry operator.

If a domain name is not renewed before expiration, it may be suspended, deleted, or made available to third parties in accordance with the Name.com Registration Agreement. Post-expiration recovery (redemption) may be subject to additional fees.

9. Registration Data

By registering a domain name through the Services, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your Personal Data. You may access, correct, or delete the Personal Data you provide in connection with your domain name registration, as described in the Lovable Privacy Policy.

10. Sanctions and Export Compliance

Domain name registration services may not be provided to any person or entity that is the subject or target of sanctions or restrictions under United Nations or U.S. economic sanctions or export controls (a "Sanctioned Person"). A Sanctioned Person includes any person or entity that is: (a) owned or controlled by a person or entity that is listed on any applicable United Nations, U.S., or non-U.S. sanctions- or export-related restricted party list, including the U.S. Department of the Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control's Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List; or (b) a national of, or located in, or organized under the laws of a jurisdiction that is subject to comprehensive United Nations or U.S. sanctions (including Iran, North Korea, Syria, or the Donetsk People's Republic, Luhansk People's Republic, and Crimea regions of Ukraine).

Lovable may reject, terminate, or suspend domain name registration services immediately and freeze associated accounts and funds, without notice, if it cannot confirm that you, or any other person to whom you are providing the services or who otherwise has an interest in the services, is not a Sanctioned Person.

11. Your Rights as a Domain Registrant

ICANN has published a summary of important rights and responsibilities for domain name registrants. We encourage you to review the Registrants' Benefits and Responsibilities page, which provides a plain-language overview of key terms from the Registrar Accreditation Agreement and related ICANN policies that affect your domain name registration.

12. Changes to These Terms

Lovable may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in ICANN policies, registry operator requirements, or the terms of Lovable's arrangement with Name.com. We will notify you of material changes in accordance with Lovable's Terms of Service. Changes required by ICANN or applicable law may take effect immediately. Your continued use of domain registration services after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
